Burger bowl with beef lettuce and other ingredients.

Kitchen Time: BBQ Burger Bowl

BBQ Burger Bowl

Think of this as a deconstructed BBQ burger — no bun required. This BBQ burger bowl layers seasoned ground beef over fluffy white rice with veggies and your favorite burger toppings. It’s quick, filling, and packed with flavor.

Ingredients (1 bowl)

  • 6 oz lean ground beef (90/10 or leaner)

  • ½ cup cooked white rice (jasmine or basmati)

  • 1 cup veggies (shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions, or pickles — think burger toppings)

  • 4 Tbsp Saucified Tangy BBQ Protein + Fiber Sauce

  • 1 tsp seasoned salt (or adjust to your taste)

  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, light ranch, mustard drizzle, or a sprinkle of sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef

    • Add ground beef to a skillet over medium heat.

    • Season with any brand of seasoned salt.

    • Cook until browned, breaking into crumbles. Drain excess fat if needed.

  2. Sauce it up

    • Stir in BBQ sauce and let it simmer for 1 minute until the beef is coated.

  3. Build the bowl

    • Add white rice as the base.

    • Top with BBQ beef.

    • Add burger-inspired veggies like shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, or pickles.

    • Finish with a drizzle of Saucified Tangy BBQ or switch it up with some Saucified Classic Ranch
